TICKETING

Tickets will be sold for all sport sessions and the Opening and Closing ceremonies at the 2004 Commonwealth Youth Games, except for road cycling and mountain bike events.

When are Tickets available ?
Tickets for local, regional, interstate and international visitors will be available for purchase from 1st September 2004.

Where can I buy the Tickets ?
Tickets will be available from Ticketek Australia via:

  • Your local Ticketek outlet (a complete list of the outlet locations and addresses can be found at the Ticketek website).  The regional outlets include:
    • Bendigo - Powney's Newsagency, 293 Hargreaves Mall
    • Ballarat - McBain's Newsagency & Tattslotto, 35-37 Lydiard Street North
    • Shepparton - Lovell's Newsagency, 246 Wyndham Street
    • Geelong - Geelong Performing Arts Centre, 50 Little Mallop Street

Commonwealth Youth Games recommends that tickets be purchased in person from a Ticketek outlet to avoid a handling fee that applies to tickets purchased over the telephone or via the internet.

What type of ticket can I buy ?
Only General Admission tickets will be sold for sporting events and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.  There will be no reserved seating at the venues and for any of the events.

There are six different types of tickets available to purchase.  Ticket suitability will be dependant on how long you will be in Bendigo and which events you wish to see.

Entry to all sessions of a nominated sport on a nominated day. Eg, entry to the two Badminton sessions on Tuesday 1st December.

Opening Ceremony

Entry to the Opening Ceremony.

Closing Ceremony

Entry to the Closing Ceremony.

One Day Pass

Unlimited entry to all sport sessions on one day nominated by the pass holder (excluding ceremonies).
If sports sessions become full, pass holders will need to wait until a seat or standing room becomes available.

Three Day Pass

Unlimited entry to all sport sessions over the three days of sporting competition (excluding ceremonies).
If sports sessions become full, pass holders will need to wait until a seat or standing room becomes available.

Games Pass

Unlimited entry to all sport sessions over the three days of sporting competition and entry to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
If sports sessions become full, pass holders will need to wait until a seat or standing room becomes available.

How much are the tickets ?
Following is a list of the prices for each ticket or pass.

  • Child 16 years and under
  • Family Up to 5 members - 2 Adults and up to 3 children
  • Special Buy one adult ticket and receive one free child's ticket

Note - 2 years and under admitted free of charge.
