Lawn Bowls is another popular Commonwealth sport that is particularly targeting youth development.  Bowls have enjoyed participation in Commonwealth events from the inception of the Commonwealth Games.  This is the first time Lawn Bowls will be contested in a Commonwealth Youth Games, with competition being held at Bendigo Lawn Bowls Club.
