400m World Champion hurdler Jana Pittman has been announced as The Face of the 2004 Commonwealth Youth Games.
The role of The Face of Games will be to promote the Games to state, national and even international markets, including media interviews, an advertising campaign, speaking engagements and attendance at the Games.

Interesting facts about Jana
For every competition Jana always paints her fingernails and toe nails the colours of whom she is representing (i.e. club, state, nation) and she wears a gold bracelet that was given to her by her former training partner Melinda Gainsford-Taylor.
